Beach Wedding Brides
Planning your perfect beach wedding could be as complicated a deal just like any other wedding motif there is. Apart from selecting the venue, making hotel and room reservations, booking plane flights, sending out and confirming invitations, planning meal courses, etc., perhaps nothing completes the whole wedding picture than for the beach wedding bride to look breathtakingly beautiful in her beach wedding dress. After all, which bride-to-be would not want to look her loveliest than in her wedding day, and at a scenic tropical island paradise where sun, sand and sea meet to give the most beautiful beach backdrop at that?
While some may label beach weddings as a rather unconventional and informal approach to celebrating a sanctimonious union, that does not mean that a beach wedding bride donning beach style wedding dresses can no longer look sensual, beautiful and feminine anymore – looks that are more commonly perceived among church wedding brides wearing traditional full length, white in lace and satin wedding gowns and poufy headpieces.
Getting that look, however, could be a lot trickier than you think. Wearing a full-length wedding gown, especially with a long train may not only be inappropriate to wear at a beach setting, it may also be a little messy since sand will just cling to your train. Choose simpler pieces that are subtly flow and drape to your desired length. These are very classy designs to wear for your beach wedding.
Informal wedding dresses are a good pick for a wedding ceremony that is casual in nature such as a beach wedding. These dresses are readily available off the racks of boutiques and dress shops and come in different styles. Informal dresses come in plain and simple designs, but are stylish and classy. It can be worn in many ways, whether strapless, off the shoulder, spaghetti strapped or with sleeves – just right for the laid-back, tropical beach setting.
Hawaiian wedding dresses, sundresses, spring dresses or even tunics could also pass off for casual beach wedding dresses. These garments are guaranteed to be cool and comfortable to wear but are also sleek and classy for a beach wedding dress. But if you really want to get a unique and edgier look, why not sport a bikini for your beach wedding? You can pick a color motif of your choice, whether you would like to add a touch of blue or even splash bold and bright tropical prints, or simply opt for a clean and pristine white. Pair it with a sarong to give ample coverage to your hip and thigh area.
And since beach wedding dresses come off very casual, you can play up and be even bolder with your imagination by accessorizing! Think beads, studded barrettes, hair band, head wreath or flowered lei to complete your beach wedding statement. The possibilities are endless! Go with hairstyle that is not too obviously made up, say, a relaxed and flowing do or a simple ponytail and make-up that looks nude and flushed. A classy pair of flip-flops or even going barefoot will top off your beach wedding look. Remember though, that the trick to looking your best on your beach wedding is to keep it low-key. You would not want to overdo it at all.
Keep in mind that since a beach wedding is typically an outdoor activity, the weather should highly be taken into consideration. The wind and sun, among other factors, can work against how you would like the weather to be like on your dream day, so you would probably consider other options in case circumstances do not turn out to be A-Okay for you.
But of course, on top of all the planning, plotting and preparations, it’s the inner glow and aura that you, beach wedding bride, naturally exude on your wedding day that will make you stand out under the gorgeous tropical sun.
